Crossmark Retraction Policy

Cultura, Educação e Trabalho defends the integrity of the scholarly record and publishes Errata, Expressions of Concern, or Retraction Notices, depending on the situation and in accordance with COPE Retraction Guidelines.

“Crossmark is a multi-publisher initiative by Crossref that provides a standard way for readers to locate the current version of a piece of content. By applying the Crossmark logo, the publisher is committing to maintaining the content it publishes and to alerting readers to changes when and if they occur. Clicking the Crossmark logo will tell you the current status of a document and may also provide additional publication record information about the document.” (CROSSREF, 2020).

The retraction mechanism follows the Retraction Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which are available at COPE Retraction Guidelines.

Authors who publish in Cultura, Educação e Trabalho agree to the following terms:

a) Assign the copyright to the journal, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows the sharing of the work with proper recognition of authorship and publication in the journal.

b) Assign, according to the policy adopted by the Editorial Committee, the copyright only after a period of 30 months from the date of publication of the article. After this period, authors interested in publishing the same text in another work must send a letter to the Editorial Committee requesting the release of copyright transfer and await a response.

This journal provides public access to all of its content, as this allows greater visibility and reach for its publications. For further information about this procedure, please access the Public Knowledge Project, the initiative that developed this system to improve the academic and public quality of research by distributing the OJS, as well as other software supporting the public access publication system for academic sources.
