About the use of Artificial Intelligence

Cultura, Educação e Trabalho accepts the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools in scientific research and communication, provided that these technologies are used ethically and responsibly in the preparation of manuscripts.

Authors who use GenAI tools at any stage of the production, writing, or revision of the manuscript must expressly declare this use within the text of the article itself, indicating the name of the tool/model or service, the version, number and/or date, the justification for the reason, and the theoretical foundation for its use.

Furthermore, authors must attach a declaration informing which technologies were employed, in which stages or excerpts of the text they were used, and what the purpose of the use was, assuming full responsibility for any errors, omissions, inconsistencies, or rights violations arising from the use of GenAI tools.

Cultura, Educação e Trabalho does not allow editors and reviewers to use GenAI for their peer reviews, under the risk of the journal carrying out verification to detect integrity issues of this nature.

Authors who publish in Cultura, Educação e Trabalho agree to the following terms:

a) Assign the copyright to the journal, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows the sharing of the work with proper recognition of authorship and publication in the journal.

b) Assign, according to the policy adopted by the Editorial Committee, the copyright only after a period of 30 months from the date of publication of the article. After this period, authors interested in publishing the same text in another work must send a letter to the Editorial Committee requesting the release of copyright transfer and await a response.

This journal provides public access to all of its content, as this allows greater visibility and reach for its publications. For further information about this procedure, please access the Public Knowledge Project, the initiative that developed this system to improve the academic and public quality of research by distributing the OJS, as well as other software supporting the public access publication system for academic sources.
