Open Access Policy

Cultura, Educação e Trabalho is an Open Access journal, which means that all its content is freely available at no cost to users or their institutions. Without requiring prior permission from the editor or author, and provided that the Creative Commons license adopted by the journal is respected, users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose. This definition of open access is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Authors who publish in Cultura, Educação e Trabalho agree to the following terms:

a) Assign the copyright to the journal, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows the sharing of the work with proper recognition of authorship and publication in the journal.

b) Assign, according to the policy adopted by the Editorial Committee, the copyright only after a period of 30 months from the date of publication of the article. After this period, authors interested in publishing the same text in another work must send a letter to the Editorial Committee requesting the release of copyright transfer and await a response.

This journal provides public access to all of its content, as this allows greater visibility and reach for its publications. For further information about this procedure, please access the Public Knowledge Project, the initiative that developed this system to improve the academic and public quality of research by distributing the OJS, as well as other software supporting the public access publication system for academic sources.
